"Queen of Camouflage" - Boruca Mask by German

A praying mantis that looks like an orchid? As an orchid lover himself, German was so impressed with this awesome and bizarre creature that decided to put his design and fine carving skills to the test! This breathtaking masterpiece is the creation of carver German Morales Delgado in collaboration with painter Deiner Maroto Lazaro from the indigenous community of Boruca, Costa Rica. Material: balsa wood & acrylic.
